My ice maker is making noises like a whistle going in and out. However ice is still being made. Please advise.
When does it do it? When it fills with water, releases ice cubes or…?

It does it at no certain time. It just starts up every now and then. Sometimes when I unplug the fridge for a couple on minutes, it may stop upon plugging it back in or maybe not.
It is very strange. Sorry but I have no clue.
