Ice maker thinks the ice tray is full

Main Symptom:the control panel says the ice tray is full, but its not.
What happens & when:if I hit the reset button, the ice dispenses, but won’t do it on its own. On the freeze settings screen, its says ice tray full and I can’t reset that. I think there may be an infrared light that I can swap out.

Error Code (if any):
Parts or tests already tried: I tried a new ice maker but that didn’t help

For your model the IR sensors are located one on the ice maker assembly and the other on the auger motor assembly.
