I’ve started having an issue where ice cubes get caught on the fingers on the icemaker when they eject. The cube gets stuck between the finger and the plastic “ramp” that the cube is supposed to slide down to get into the bucket. Once I clear the cube and use the door switch to turn the ice maker off and on, it starts working again. At least until another cube gets stuck.
I’ve also noticed that I’m having issues with small icicles hanging from the bottom of the ice maker. The bolt holes in the bottom of the ice maker are also clogged with ice. I’ve always had the freezer temp dial set to 4, but I turned it to 5 and still have the problem. It also feels like there is a good bit of ice built up in the sloping part of the bracket behind the ice maker.
