Ice maker runs hot

Main Symptom: Transformer over heats
What happens & when: Unit makes ice but runs hot and melts the ice. The transformer of the unit gets really hot. the whole up section gets extremely hot from the transformer heating everything up.

Error Code (if any):
Parts or tests already tried: Replaced Transformer, Main control board, and ice thermistor. Also replaced the water valve earlier in the year to fix a water supply issue.

That makes me think there is something wrong with the grid assembly W10783275 that cuts the ice and is also powered off of the transformer. The other 2 things powered by the transformer are the recirculation and drain pumps, since it is making ice I doubt they would be the problem.
