Ice maker not working

Brand: Kitchenaid
**Model Number:**KRSC703HPS01
Main Symptom: no ice production
What happens & when:

Error Code (if any):
Parts or tests already tried: ice maker and inlet valve have been replaced. Water dispenser continued to work. Thawed unit but line not frozen. Local technician was worthless as he didn’t even know how to access ice maker. When unplugging and restarting refrigerator, it sounds like the ice maker unit motor works but when it would normally fill, there is a just a clicking sound like it is trying to fill.

Was the valve that was replaced the double solenoid valve or the single solenoid valve? If it was the single solenoid valve, the dual solenoid valve would need to be tested for 120 Volts AC during an ice maker harvest cycle. The valve should receive 120 Volts AC for around 9 seconds when testing the wires at the red solenoid. If voltage is present, and the water line in the door is not frozen, the dual valve has failed.
