Did some preliminary searching on these forums but could not find specific info for my model.
I had this fridge disconnected from the water supply for about two months while I was installing a new floor. During this time I had the ice maker set to “off.”
Since I have connected the unit back to the water line it has not been producing any ice. The water in the door works fine but no ice is being made. I have recently tried defrosting the ice making compartment with a hair dryer without any success.
While I have found an exploded diagram of the ice maker, I have had a hard time finding a service manual or any basic info on how to remove / test the ice maker in this unit.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Note that it is for a Y03 and not a Y07 unit. It is the closest I can find.
Odds are that the wiring will be the same.
The first thing to check is you freezer temperature.
It should be between 0 and 5 degrees F.
The ice maker will not harvest till it gets below 16 degrees F.
The wiring diagram shows a thermal fuse in the ice maker circuit.
I cannot find it in the parts but the parts do show a fuse clip (item 19 in section 2)
Perhaps the fuse is part of the wiring diagram. I do not know.
Is the ice maker getting any water?

On page 7 there is info on a French door Whirlpool but it is fo GI7’s and i do not know how close this unit matches yours.

Thanks fore the quick reply! This set me off on the right path. That diagnostic mode is pretty nifty and I could definitely see it coming in handy in the future.
The ice compartment was at spec for temp and frozen line was not a problem (the line on the model actually runs across the top of the fridge and even has an exposed section to prevent freezing). When I jumped T and H nothing happened.
Not knowing what to do next I pulled the ice maker assembly out to do some further inspection. Found a great video for removing this type of unit which was really helpful.

After removing the cover on the ice maker I found this nice little surprise:
That is a picture of the underside of the cover for the ice maker. Good thing there is an inline fuse! This is where one of the heating element contacts the circuitry.
Unfortunately, the exploded view does not look quite like how my ice maker is put together and the cover is not shown. The ice maker is model W10377151.
It would be great if I could find just this cover.
Any suggestions?
I think I am just going to replace the whole ice maker unit since I want to make sure that whatever did the melting gets fixed.
