I’ve tried replacing the two parts that I assumed were the issue, the water valve first and then the ice maker itself and still no ice. The water valve in the basement is turned on so there is water going to the fridge. I have turned off the fridge several times and let it sit for 10 minutes or so to try and reset it hoping that would work but still no ice? I thought maybe there was a reset button on the ice maker itself but that doesn’t seem to be the case. Looking for possible suggestions? Thanks.

Check the temperature around the icemaker. Icemakers need 3 things to work. !. Cold temps, 0-5 degrees. 2. water, duh right? and 3. power. Make sure there is 120 vac going to the icemaker. You should be able to manually cycle the icemaker by hand. Grab the tines and rotate them clockwise; it should start to move on its own and then fill. Make sure the fill tube is not iced up. If it cycles and does not fill, there is a water problem. If it will not manually rotate, there is a problem with power. If it fills and never dumps, there may be a temp. problem. Good Luck

I shut the fridge off for 30 minutes and turned it back on and it seems to be working now. :+1:t3:
