Ice Maker for my Frigidaire

Folks,

I’ve just had to swap out a fridge for my tenants. I put in there a Frigidaire FRT18L4JM3 vintage 2009 which doesn’t have an ice maker currently installed. But it is an option on this fridge. I just took out a Kenmore 106.71184101 vintage 2003 with an ice maker. Would I be able to take the ice maker from the Kenmore and install it into the Frigidaire? Are they standard? How? Are there instructions on this site?

Thank you very much…

Rene G.

106 is a Whirlpool so it would not be compatible with a Frigidaire.

Ok, thank you.. Does this site have the ice maker for the Frigidaire FRT18L4JM3

I could not find one. I looked here and at the Frigidaire site.

You would probably need a kit.
re: the icemaker, the water valve, the water tubing etc.
Still may be worth calling the folks at AppliancePartsPros.
They have access to more info than is available on the site.
