Ice dispenser not working

[SIZE=3]I have whirlpool side by side refrigerator since last winter we did not use ice dispen[SIZE=3]s[SIZE=3]e[/SIZE]r[SIZE=3]. I w[SIZE=3]onder that will cause my motor frozen or switch to activate motor going bad but whe[SIZE=3]n depress my ice dispenser the light at panel come on and go off in 3 sec. And[SIZE=3] i am not sure is a motor or switch are bad?

Hi Neoplan,

Remove the ice motor and perform the troubleshooting as instructed in the attached files. Post the results.
