3 possible causes

Faulty ice paddle switch (usually behind thr user interface)

Faulty freezer door switch or switch sensor

Faulty harness.

What happens when the oce dispenser paddle is depressed? Does the dispenser door open? Do you here any other noises?

If the water dispenser works properly, and the ice dispenser paddle has continuity when pressed, there is a voltage test that can be done. At the door hinge, there should be three separate wire connections from what I can see. There should be a three wire connector with a blue wire, a gray wire (or gray with orange stripe), and a green wire with a yellow stripe. With a meter set to Volts DC, test from the blue wire to the gray wire while pressing the dispenser. Does 140 Volts DC reach this section? If not, the same voltage test can be done at the main control connection P3 when testing from the blue wire at pin 7 to the gray wire at pin 8. If voltage is not present at all, regardless of where testing is done, the main control would be the likely cause of failure. If voltage is at the main control but not the door hinge, there is a harness failure in the liner of the appliance, which is not repairable. If there is voltage at the door hinge but not the auger motor, the door has a damaged wire and would need to be replaced.
