Main Symptom: Humming noise
What happens & when: Recently moved in and the dishwasher hums loudly during the whole washing cycle. It cleans the dishes well but the humming noise is about to drive me crazy. It evens continues to hum even after it dings to indicate the wash is complete.
Error Code (if any): No error codes
Parts or tests already tried: have not replaced parts or do I know what to test
What pitch is the hum? Is it a high pitch hum or is it more like a medium dishwasher motor hum?
I’ve never had a dishwasher hum/buzz like this however I think it sounds higher pitch than a motor hum and it hums/buzzes even when the motor is not running. In fact it continues to make the sound even when it signals that the whole wash cycle has completed. The noise continues for several minutes afterwards.

It sounds like the humming is probably from the vent. If you place your ear near the top left of the door when it is happening, you will likely find that the noise is originating from this point.
