How to replace Heating Element on Amana DLE330RAW

So I am lost, and i think I have messed something up…

I removed the front cover to gain access to the heating element. I was told that if the lint trap is in the door then access to the element is from the front. I removed the entire lint trap and cleaned it. I then started removing the blower and what appeared to be the motor. When I started removing the motor I noticed I unattached the belt and also need to know how to reroute that properly.

I put everything back in fear I would mess something else up. After reviewing this: Rear bulkhead, rollers & air duct replacement parts for AMANA DLE330RAW DRYER- ELE | AppliancePartsPros.com I now see it looks like I should gain access to the heating element from the back, but I am unable to located anything on the back that would allow me to do this.

Please help!

Thanks!!

Heating Element has been found…For those of you like me, it is at the bottom left…2 1/4 inch bolts hold it inplace…Kind of in an awkward location…One of the coils is shot, so it will be replaced when the part comes in tomorrow…

Still my other problem is there…The belt has come loose, and I saw the wiring diagram, but still clueless…anyhelp?

Here are some pics of what I am dealing with:

You have to join the site to download the manual but it is free and this is a very good site for manuals and other info for the appliance repair DIYer.

Not a working link…

I would love some descriptive help if possible that does not require me to join another site…

Link works for me, I just tried it.

The wiring Diagram won’t help. I’m Working on an amana Right now. And looked @ the Belt Routing.. You must Jockey around the tensioner Pulley. Route the Belt around Before you pull on it To maximum tension Slip the Belt on the Motor output pulley(Must be completly around the Shaft) Release the tensioner and that should do it.It’s like routing a Serpentine Belt on a car Engine Harmonic Balance Pulley. Hope this Help!. Just think about the way It should be tensed and You’ll figure it Out.
