KitchenAid Superba Convection Oven - Model KESH307HBL0
When first turned on, the oven it is taking longer than normal to reach the selected temperature. For example, it takes 20+ minutes to get to 400 degrees. The top elements (broil and convection) appear to work okay (turn orange), but the bottom floor of the oven does not even get warm to the touch. If you bvake a pizza, the top gets cooked, but the bottom does not get very brown/crisp. I suspect the hidden bake element is not working.
Am I on the right track thinking the hidden element is out? And, if so, how do I access the hidden bake element to replace it? Some websites say to remove the right side panel and others say to access it through the underside above the pullout storage drawer. When I pull out the drawer, I do see a square panel held on with several screws.

That is where I would start, pull it and check it with a meter.
I see you have started your own forum posting so I will not respond to this one as it will just cause confusion.
Hi denman:
Since I am new to these types of forum’s, I am not sure exactly what you mean or what I might have accidently done when you said:
“I see you have started your own forum posting so I will not respond to this one as it will just cause confusion”
The only thing I can think of. Is that I wanted to replay to an answer and I couldn’t find a reply link so I did post my question in that format.
Could you please explain this in a little more detail, so I can follow procedures?
When you post using Post Reply, it adds your post to the thread/posts that you are in.
If your post is about a different model, problem etc. then it is called hijacking a thread and is considered impolite.
When you use Post New Topic it starts a new thread in the section (Dishwasher Repair, Dryer Repair etc.) of the forum that you are in.
So your model number , name , problem etc. shows up as a new question at the top of the listing.

Without going over everything, can you just tell how I actually determine if the circle convection element and the hidden bake element are working?
Unplug the stove.
Dis-assemble it so you can get to the connectors on the elements. See the manual in my earlier post.
Set the meter to ohms (resistances) most sensitive scale (usually 200).
Short the meter leads together the meter should show 0 or close to it.
Put one meter lead on the right hand element connection and the other meter lead on the left hand element connector.
And it should measure the elements resistance.
