How do I test the heating element?

My dryer gets warm, but it seems like it doesn’t get hot enough. The heating element is in a housing at the rear of the drum. What’s the disassembly procedure so I can test the heating element, the two thermostats and the thermal fuse?

GE dryers don’t use thermal fuses. If dryer runs, then hi limit thermostat is good and if your getting some heat, then drum safety thermostat and drum outlet thermostat are good. Need to check control inlet thermostat and the three heat elements. Outer element should read 21.8 ohms and the two inner elements are in parallel and should also read 21.8 ohms. Suggest you search youtube on GE dryer disassembly for taking dryer apart. Tech sheet should be inside control panel.
