Are you having cooling issues in the fridge and the freezer? Is it cooling at all?
Yes. The front panel was also dead. I checked power at the front panel and accidently touched 2 of the leads coming out of it with 1 of the leads from volt meter. Something clicked then fan came on, light on front panel came on and about a minute later the compressor came on. All is working now. Both sides r cooling. I put a cup of water in both and will wait to see if water brings to freeze. If so I’m going to unplug for about 5mts and plug back in to see if it will restart.
Any suggestions??
We noticed the problem Wednesday nite (8apr). I wondering is cut whole house electric to work on it Monday after 3:00pm Pacific time for about 1.5hrs could have set all of this in motion? Both freezer and frig working great. It’s making ice and the butter in the frig is cold. It’s been running since about 11am. I did unplug it for about 5 mts and everything started right back as it should.
In a earlier post I wrote that I accidently touch a couple of the leads coming out the back of the electrical board about the ice maker at the front door. I shake really bad some days is why I touched 2 of the electrical leads testing for power at the front board with my fluke meter because the front board had no lights and would not respond. After touching 2 leads at same time with fluke meter while the other meter lead was only touching just 1 lead.
Yes I am. Found that it is not working again this morning but I had it working yesterday.
