I need to replace my Thermador microwave made in 1985, and I need to know how it’s connected to A/C power. I don’t want to pull it out of the cabinetry and support it for several days while I wait for an electrician to come and disconnect it.

Hi. This is a microwave oven combo and it’s hardwired in the back.

An electrician (or an appliance tech) would first shut off the power to it at the circuit breaker, confirm that it’s off, then pull it out (most likely using an oven dolly) and disconnect the power in the back. If you don’t feel comfortable doing that, I would recommend waiting for the electrician.

Hope this helps.
