House lights flicker when microwave is used

Main Symptom: house lights flicker
What happens & when: originally the microwave stopped working. So I replaced the inverter board at the advice of Customer service. After I did so, the lights in the house (on a different circuit) start flickering when the microwave is turned on. My son claimed to get a headache right after so I turned off the microwave immediately. the microwave also made an electrical noise when it was turned on. I have consulted an electrician and he inspected the ground wires in the panel, but did not find anything out of the ordinary. I don’t want to continue replacing parts in hopes to solve the problem. any thoughts would be appreciated,

Justgarages, the electrical noise could be coming from any of the electrical components in the microwave. With this being the case, a visual inspection of the controls, magnetron antenna, and the waveguide (where the magnetron antenna fits into) would be a starting point. If there are any indications of arcing, such as a scorch mark, this can indicate where the issue is occurring. Regarding the lights, it may be possible that something in the microwave could be causing a voltage drop resulting in the flickering. Identifying if there are any indications of arcing can help see if there might be something causing a larger draw.
