My hotpoint oven heat completely to the correct temperature, its generally to low. After turning it on, the glowbar comes on in about 60 sec and ignites the gas, but afterwards it seems to go through phases of going out and coming back on constantly before it ever reaches the set temperature. Could this be a problem with the sensor?
It could be the sensor (part # AP2023670), that would be a good place to start. try to ohm it and post your reading
