My Hotpoint oven, model number RB755G0N6WH, is not heating up properly. The top element is getting hot but the bottom one is only warm. I can only find model # RB755GN6WH. Are these compatible? I have already read the forums about how to replace the element so I am just making sure before I order the part.

An element is either good or it ain’t. If your ERC electronic oven control(or equivilent ) is ok then: You probably have a loose wire, a receptacle problem, or a bad breaker. Just a guess.
