The evap fan motor runs very slowly, continuously starting and stopping. It did run for awhile at normal speed but after a defrost it went back to running slowly. This fan is a 4 wire connection from the main circuit board. Do you think this a fan motor issue or a circuit board issue? Thanks. Frank
I would replace both the evaporator fan motor and the motherboard in the back.
I replaced the fan and it seems to be working. I didn’t realize it was a 7.5 volt fan motor. Thanks for your help.
You should be ok, you are lucky it didn’t blow out the motherboard.
