Hotpoint Dryer Motor

Ordered and received a replacement motor for a Hotpoint DLB2750BALHT electric dryer. Motor kit is AP4295548 (WE17X10010) But, the dimension of the motor from motor mount to motor mount is about an inch shorter than the dimention from mounting bracket to mounting bracket. Is there an updated mounting bracket/idler arm assembly that should be used with this motor?

I can only suggest you call the parts folks back at APP (we who respond on this forum are not part of APP or their parts operations) and see what they can do for you.

This type of problem happens a lot on older model GE products, not sure why
