Our machine blew a 3/8" hole in the back section of the outer plastic tub. Not on a seam but the water stream did score a direct hit to the motherboard. Any suggestions as to what caused this and whether the machine is worth fixing would be appreciated.
either one of the arms on the spider (3 brackets that hold the inner tub) broke or your bearing went out. both usually make a lot of noise before catastrophe hits. this could mean inner tub, outer basket, control board, seal and front basket. this not worst case scenario. water could have also fried motor/motor control and shocks are probably bad. sorry, but that is a major malfunction and generally quite costly.
