Hi let me start out buy saying that I replaced the igniter on my Maytag Gumini double oven. I got the part from a local store and took out the old igniter But here is the problem i have. There is a small little plate that i cant seem to see where it goes. Its about (2.5 x 2.5) inches. I did put the whole thing back together and tested the upper oven all is ok it seems. I just cant remember where this plate goes. I tried many different places just cant remember. There was a small plate that came with the new igniter. It has holes in it.
Ok i figured it out it went over the top of the left side in the back of the oven tube, where it connects and disconnects.
