HELP!! I have a front load kenmore he2 plus washer… I ended a cycle like 1 minute early, and now if I push start it beeps and turns off. I did the push one button 4x, and got the error code f-01. I tried to do the other test (spin/rinse cycle push button 4 times in 5 sec.) but couldn’t get anything done with that. I have 5 kids, and the mountain of laundry is piling up as we speak… I can only wash so much by hand!! HELP!!!
I called Sears, and to get someone to the house would be 130.00!
The problem is probably with your main control unit. Unplug the machine and wait for five minutes and plug it back in and see if that helps. If not, take off the lower service panel and you should find some tech notes. Itg will tell you how to go through a diagnostic exercise, but at the end of the day you may just have to replace the main control unit, which unfortunately is not an inexpensive part.
