Help,kenmore dryer plug melting!

 The plug and receptacle for my electric dryer is melting when I use the dryer, only on one leg of it though. The dryer is drying fine though, just replaced the belt and venting thinking the smell was coming from these before I discovered the plug problem!!! Anyone have any suggestions as to why this is happening??? HELP!!

Only one answer, CURRENT FLOW=HEAT, you have a loose connection some where most likely at the plug in but possibly at the terminal block, check both of these, DO NOT use the dryer until you find out why this is happening, very dangerous.

Thanks for the help!! I replaced the receptacle and cord, seemed to be shorted in the receptacle, working fine now!!
