Help! Dead Whirlpool Duet GHW9200LW

:frowning: Help!! My Duet has died! Worked fine until about an hour ago. Lights were on and seem to respond to control panel. It just would not start a cycle. Unplugged it for few minutes and plugged it back in. Now it’s completely dead! No lights…nothing. I know that there are 2 computers. Which should I replace first or should I just do both? Or could there be another issue?? Any help is appreciated!! Rich

check your owners manual i think it has a 5 year warranty on both control boards but i would follow the wires from the power supply and make sure i had 120 going to the CCB which is useally at the top

2 years on electronic components… I will check voltage and get back with you. Thanks! Rich

Yes it has 120 volts going to the CCB. I think I should order that first???

yeah i woul go for that first

th MCB pretty much controls the motor and the pump

Thanks for your help. I replaced the CCB and it worked! I have ordered parts from you site as well. Best prices on the net!

My washer seems to be doing the same thing. Started a load, a few minutes into the cycle it stopped and started beeping and displayed a F09 code I believe it was, then the door would not open, and now it wont even power up at all. The buttons wont respond or light up even. How difficult is it to swap out the CCU? I’m not even sure how to take the thing apart to get at it. Any advise is GREATLY appreciated! Thanks

Anybody? I would like to know if there is anything I should know before replacing the ccu. Thanks
