Dishwasher had a broken element. Replaced the element and checked a thermostat on the right side of the tub. It had continuity. Haven’t check the thermal fuse in the control panel. Is that the next step or is there another fuse or thermostat to check?
With this model, the issue could be with the wire harness, the water turbidity sensor, or the main control. If the power supply to the dishwasher is turned off, the turbidity sensor and the heating circuit of the wire harness can be tested using the wires at the main control. At the 4 wire connection on the left of the control (connection P4) will be a blue wire with white stripe and a blue wire with red stripe. After disconnecting the wire connection from the main control, these two wires can be tested for resistance, which should measure between 8-30 Ohms. If this comes up as an open circuit, the wire harness failed on the heating circuit side. If it tests good, the wires at connection P12 will be used for testing next. With the yellow wired connection P12 disconnected, the wire at pin 4 would be tested to the wire at pin 6 of the harness (Pin 6 is the far right wire when they are plugged into the main control). The resistance should measure between 46K-52K Ohms at room temperature. If it is lower than this, the turbidity sensor has failed. If it passes testing, the main control is the likely cause of failure. Here are links to each part for reference.
