This washer could be more then 10 years old, I can’t get behind it right now to see what year it was purchased. It is my grandmother’s washer and I want to fix it for her since calling someone is soo expensive. Just a couple days ago I went in to put another load in and I clicked the power button and a screen pops up saying " NOTICE! A problem has been detected with this unit." I tried pressing the other buttons but they won’t work/ screen doesn’t change from that error message and I’ve tried to unplug it, wait and plug it back in. The same message pops back up. The washer won’t start up or anything. What could the problem be? What could I do to fix it? Thanks, Anastasia.
You need to go into service mode to see what the errors are. Press POWER to turn the machine on, press HOME if the home screen is not displayed, press HELP, press and hold MY CYCLES and BACK simultaneously for 3 seconds. Make a note of the errors.
