The roller assembly for the top rack of my GE dishwasher is worn out, making it possible for the top rack guide to ‘jump off’ the rollers attached to the inside wall of the dishwasher. I have the Guide Rail Bracket kit, and have removed the rack and the guide rail successfully. However, the roller assembly that is attached to the inside wall of the machine doesn’t want to come loose. Upon inspection of the replacement part, it does not appear to be threaded, so I assume this bracket just pops onto posts coming into the dishwasher from a brace on the outside. But, I don’t want to just keep pulling on it if that’s not the case. Can anyone help?

Actually, after calling a local free tech person, here’s the answer. Locate 2 clips on top of dishwasher. they are usually screwed to the underside of your counter. Remove. Carefully pull out dishwasher maybe 6 inches. On the outside body there is 2 screws/hex nuts. That is how you can get acess to the guide rail bracket. Remove, replace and gently push dishwasher back in. If I can do it, you can do it!
