GTW680BSJ6WS issues entering personality code after replacing main board

Main Symptom: Various issues, including buttons not working, excessive water, etc.
**What happens & when:**I installed a new main board in my GE washer GTW680BSJ6WS

And after powering up it starts in field service mode, lights flash as supposed to but when I push the start button to choose the personality of the machine it goes blank.. I see in the fourm that the same thing happens to others too… By the way this is my second motrherboard. The first one did the same thing.

You should have used personality 6 for this model. It probably comes down to the saving process did not take the first time you entered it. Do a hard re-set. Unplug the washer, wait 5-10 minutes, plug it back in and see if the display comes back on. Try entering the personality again.
