Based on your description, the first thing we need to determine is exactly where the water is leaking from.
Does it only drip for a few seconds after dispensing water, or is it leaking continuously?
Is the water coming from the dispenser nozzle, from behind the dispenser housing, or from underneath the refrigerator?
If the dispenser continues to drip long after you’ve finished dispensing, the water inlet valve is the most likely cause. The valve may not be sealing completely, allowing water to slowly seep through to the dispenser. This can also occur if the home water pressure is below about 20 psi. If the water pressure is adequate, replacing the inlet valve is typically the solution.
Remove the water filter and inspect it for cracks or damage.
Reinstall it, making sure it is fully locked into place. A filter that isn’t completely seated can cause leaks.
Dispense 2–3 gallons of water into a container to purge any trapped air.
Air in the water line can cause the dispenser to drip for several minutes after each use.
Pull the refrigerator away from the wall and inspect the water line connections at the rear of the refrigerator for any signs of moisture or dripping.
Also inspect the tubing inside the dispenser area if the leak appears to be coming from behind the dispenser housing.
Could you also let me know:
Does the leak happen only while dispensing, for a few seconds afterward, or all the time?
Is the water coming from the dispenser nozzle itself, inside the dispenser recess, or from underneath the refrigerator?
That will help narrow it down quickly.
