Glow plug not lighting

Parts or tests already tried: i got a new glow plug a couple months ago works fine a few days ago it did not llight the one thing i did notice is there was a small flame coming out of the heater bar likely for a couple days.. this sshould not happen…so the diaframe has a small leak the question is is there a safety feature that does not allow the glow plug to light if it does…should there not be any trouble codes on the screen also the ic board may have an issue…but i want to isolate the issue before i spend money on things that i dont need

If the oven igniter glows and the burner will not light, replace the igniter. If the igniter does not glow, check to see if there is 120 Volts AC getting to the igniter.

If the safety valve is leaking, it will need to be replaced. The safety valve will only open to let gas through when there is sufficient voltage going through the igniter.
