My GE washer won’t stop running. When I turn it on it cycles through all of the cycles. It just runs and runs. It’s functioning properly with the exception that it won’t turn off. It’s like it’s not recognizing the off switch on the nozzle. Help!
This is happening because current is continually going to your timer motor, which is a small electrical motor that moves the timer mechanism. Since this power comes through the timer it is likely that the timer will have to be replaced.
