GE Washer will turn itself off and on

My GE washer turns itself off during wash cycle and then turns itself on immedeately; stays on for about 10 second and repeats the cycle.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I assume your motor is cutting out. Probably need a new motor, not very cheap though.
