GE washer panel will not light after pump replacement

Main Symptom:panel wont light up
What happens & when: I replaced the water pump now the panel wont light up. The pump is running . I poured in a bucket of water and it pumped it out. Prior to the replacement it won’t drain the water.But the panel did work correctly.

When you replaced the pump, did you unplug the washer? Did you have to get into the console area? Something as you know, happened after replacing the pump. If you didn’t unplug it, it may have shorted out the console.

I dint have to get into the control panel. I did unplug the washer before service.

I just took the back panel off of the control panel . their is a ground wire conection that came off. I guess this happened when i laid the washer down to replace the pump. I don’t have any idea whee this connects on the control board.

Look for a terminal on the board with a GRND lettering.
