GE Washer New Control Board

Brand: GE
Model Number: GTW330ASK0WW
Main Symptom: With new control board from, and authenticated by, AppliancePartsPros, the washer starts a wash cycle but gets stuck with an odd clicking noise and won’t continue the cycle. Bottomline: I am without a functioning washing machine.
What happens & when:

Error Code (if any):

Parts or tests already tried: Prior to the need for the new control board, the washer has worked great for almost 4 years and then it started to drain on its own in the middle of the night. This happened 4 years earlier and the fix was to change out its control board. To remedy the issue this time, I again purchased a new control board from AppliancePartsPros. Checking the PersonalityID, the board was set for a GTW491. As I incremented through the PersonalityIDs, the options jump from 5 to 9. My GTW330 PersonalityID value is 8.
When running a wash cycle, it soon gets stuck with clicking noises that I am not familiar with and I stop the cycle.

When I ran the diagnostic tests, the spin and agitate don’t work - they start with two shots of water, lock the door, and then the clicking noises, but all other tests do work.

How does this get fixed? Did I get the wrong board (Order number: 16872119)? Is something else broken? Is the incorrect PersonalityID running the machine outside of its physical capabilities?
