GE Wall Oven Locked After Running the Cleaning Cycle

I think that is your problem.
On the lock motor, when I turn the electricity back on, there is something in the middle that seems to want to go around but a black arm is stopping it. Should I replace this?

Thanks again for all your help. dearsmiths
Haven’t done anything yet. Are the black arms the switches on the motor bracket? I think I am going to take a chance and order the motor bracket and see if that works. If you have any other information, appreciate your help.

Yes, you want to get the motor assembly which includes the motor, bracket and switches

the Lock Motor (Part Number AP2024736), are the switches and bracket a part of it, or separate?

Thanks, dearsmiths

You got the right part,

I took out the Lock Motor and replaced it with the new one, wife used the upper oven last night, works like a charm (and I am no longer in the dog house  ).

Many thanks for your help and persistance with answering all my questions, I sincerely appreciate it and wish you a great summer.

That’s great, now if I could just find someone to help me with my computer
