GE top loading machine, noisy with excessive movement of tub

I have a 10 year old GE top loading washer (WBSR3140D5WW). It is very noisy during both washing and spinning cycles, but more so in the washing cycle. Despite the noise, it gets the washing done with no problem.

The tub seems to be very loose when I try to push it around by hand. I took the front cover off, the damping straps and suspension rods all in their proper places. Below are videos of the machine in washing phase and spinning phase. Should the tub move so much during the washing phase?

Appreciate the help.

The tub should not have excessive movement and if you think the straps are ok I would try replacing the rods. They may have damage that you cannot see.

Here is a video of me moving the tub around by hand. Is the degree of freeplay look reasonable?

Can’t really tell without being there. Operate it with the front panel off and see if you can tell if the problem is with the drum banging around or if the noise is from some other source.
