I was given a second hand ge hydro wave quiet wash system I was told it worked fine right before I got it but after moving it to the basement i found out it was out of balance It ran fine with no clother in it but when loaded it was totally unbalanced in the spin cyce An added problem is there is no tag or other markings with a serial # or model # Any advice 
Operate it with the front panel off and see if you can locate the problem. And if it is a hydro check for error codes that are designated by a blinking light on the motor. Here is how to interpret a code.
