Help. My washing machine was working fine on Saturday. On sunday however, it would only light up and not do anything else…fill, spin, drain. What gives? Any suggestions woul d help before I call GE Service Center. Yes, of course the waranty ran out the beginning of the month.
Try to unplug the washer for a few minutes. Some time it helps to eliminate a problem.

Thanks Gene so much for your response. I have tried that and it still doesn’t do anything? I read online that it could be the lid switch or some type of valve. Do you think either one of these things are the problem. Help. I don’t want to call repairman if it is something simple. Thanks again.
