This could be a failure with the center warmer element, a damaged wire, or with the relay control. With the power supply turned off, and the element accessed, it can be tested for resistance. There should be a resistance reading of 479 Ohms if the element is good. Does the element show a reading different from this?

My multimeter is old, but shows approximately 450 ohms. Here is what I have done so far:

1. Replaced the 3 burner element with a new one. No change.

2. Contacted AppliancePro sales team. They identified that there is a bad Starter board relay. I ordered part number WB27T11357.

3. Replaced this part. Still not working.

4. Called AppliancePro sales. Michael sent me a 4 page diagnostics sheet # 31-17059. On page 2 in the Cooktop Voltage Table, I attempted the measure the bottom row voltages referenced.

AK5-NO (J7-4)to L2 was 240V.

AK10-COM to L1 was 120V.

On AK-14- COM to L1 was 120V. ? I am having an issue identifying D-2-K-3 COM to L1. K-3 on the board has two spade terminals named J2 and J3. I found a spot named D-2 on the back of the board under the K1 relay? Is that where I measure?

On the last one, D-2-K-7 COM to L1, the K-7 on the board has two spade terminals J5 and K6. D-2 is under the board beneath K1. Where do I measure?

Thanks for your patience,

With the power supply turned off and the cooktop relay board accessed, for the triple burner, the wires at connection J7 can be disconnected and the blue wire with white stripe tested to the white wire with black stripe at K10. What resistance do you read at this test point? For the warming element in the center near the back of the cooktop, use the purple wire at connection J7 pin 4 and the red wire on the terminal block.

At the test point Blue/Wht Stripe connection J7 to white wire with black stripe my ohmeter reads approximately 50 ohms.

The warming elements in the center near the back has the element wire connection broken where it connects to the wire. It has not operated and we do not use it. I could not find a replacement element that was available.
