I need to buy new burner coils for my range. I can’t find the exact model number, the numbers/letters after the 30W are different. The coils in the pictures for similar model #s looks very much like what i have, except they are mirror images, i.e. if you hold the coil with the plug part pointing down, the outer part of the coil terminates on the left with a red cuff (insulation?) and inner part terminates on the right with a white cuff on my current burners. The new ones pictured from on-line distributors are all the reverse. Does this make a difference?
Thanks for any help.
You can find the complete model number on the door frame or on the range frame behind the bottom drawer.
Gene.
P.S. Which coils are you looking for: 6" or 8"?
Thanks, Gene, but i have the model#, JBP30WOB1WW. It’s just that none of the parts sites i have looked at list that full model #. I’ve found listings for many which begin with JBP30W, but none that match the full model number. Since the photos of the parts are are mirror images of what mine look like, i’m trying to find out if they will work OK in my range. I’d like to replace both large coils and 1 small one.
In the model number you posted instead of “O” between “W” & “B” suppose to be “0”. Also according to GE you do not have to type this “zero” when you are going to lookup parts for this model.
