Part # WB55X10655 was the right part to replace the door frame. I sawe one post about using a putty knife, a specific kind, to remove the middle of the door, but that was one that had screws at the end. Mine doesn’t. I can’t get the little nodule thing that holds the hinge to pop out. Please help. Thanks!
You do not have to remove the middle of the door (the door frame assembly, #9 on the diagram) in order to replace the outer door panel. Remove the inner door frame as shown in the video clip posted on the forum earlier, then remove the door handle. Remove the outer door frame the same way as the inner door frame.

Thanks so much, Gene. I’m feeling confident we are going to get this done! I have the old franme 75% off. There was a little super glue applied, originally, that we have to clear before we can complete that. Should I attach the handle BEFORE I put the frame on?
Assemble it in the reversed order.

I hope I get that far, Gene. I’m still in limbo, with the frame hanging 50% off and that last 25% clinging to the super glue, which I need to remove before I can proceed. I’m REALLY hoping I can do this myself and save some money.
Gene,
I was cleaning out my folders and ready to delete this one, when I realized I had probably forgotten to thank you for all your good advice, which saved me bucks, during this critical time in economic history. Ultimately, I had to get past my fear and just “do it.” The door snapped back in and has been working perfectly! With much gratitude, Susan G.
You are welcome Susan. I’m glad to hear you are back in business. Thank you for your feed back and good luck with your microwave.
