GE Spacemaker XL1800 control panels locks up, displaying -F3- code. Have to turn power off, wait for a week or two. Sometimes it works, sometimes, it still doesn’t. How to repalce the faulty electronics? Having about the same problem with the GE gas range…

“F3” error code means a shorted key on the key panel. The correction is to replace the key pad which coming as a part of the control panel assembly.
