GE Spacemaker washer seal replacement

An apartment technician, I have 100 of these machines. The tub seals are starting to leak and I cannot figure out how to get the shaft out of the tub. There is no spanner nut like regular washers. I’ve gotten the agitator off and the tub loose but can’t figure out how the shaft attaches. I cannot pull the tub off of the shaft and I wonder if it is"pressed" into the hub drive.

You have to remove the tub from the machine, the shaft is part of the transmission which needs to be removed from the bottom of the tub.

Go to www.applianceaid.com for specific info on this. Best to remove the tranny and tub as a unit to replace the tub seal/bearing. Biggest problem with these is getting the tub nut off, they tend to freeze up.
