GE refrigerator GSS25LSLKCSS water dispenser doesn't work and not making ice. I ordered, received and installed Isolation valve and jumper part #WR57X30890 but both the inlet and outlet lines are leaking where they connect to the valve. Please advise

The lines are probably push-on type connections. They have to be pushed in really hard to make them seat properly.

They are and I have removed them and pushed them in several times. They feel like they are going in as far as they will go. Is there any other reason they may not be seating?

When installing the lines into the valve do I insert the different colored grommet into the valve body first then insert the line into the grommet or does the grommet slip onto the line then insert the line into the valve body then slid the grommet over the line into the valve body?
