Main Symptom: Freezer isn’t freezing, but refrigerator section is cooling.
What happens & when: The appliance started making an odd noise and this morning the freezer isn’t freezing, food is thawing out. The appliance is running, but then sounds like something clicks on, makes the strange noise for about 10 seconds then clicks off. Where do we begin looking for the problem?

Based on the description of the issue it sounds like an issue with the compressor star device or the compressor itself.

Since the refrigerator is staying cool, the compressor must be running. Is the capacitor on the compressor a run capacitor or a start capacitor? It tested bad.
