GE Range Control Board Error Code F8 10

Brand: GE
Model Number: PS950SF2SS
Main Symptom: Incompatible
What happens & when: New control board shows error code F8 10. Old control board still mostly works (only a couple of buttons) are unhappy so I know installation and power are good. Search on internet tells me that new boards have to be programmed to work with older ovens (mine is 10 years old). But none of the programming sequences I have found seem to work. Does AppliancePartsPros have a programming sequence for this control board? The date code on the old printed circuit board is from 2012. The new board you sent me is from 2020. Is it possible that the oven is just “too old” to ever work with this control board?

Error Code (if any):F8 10
Parts or tests already tried: This is the second AP565399/WB27T11430 board that I have tried. Both generate the F8 10 error code.

The manufacturer does not show any programming information for this board. This error code indicates a communication error between the UI and main control board. Check that all connections are in place and not damaged or loose; if they are all good then it is possible you will need to replace nothe the UI and the main board.
