The GE range/oven flashing red light on a GE range control board often indicates a fault, and the first troubleshooting step should be to reset the board by unplugging it for a min. of five minutes. Check for damage to the board and the wiring. Check for a tripped hi-limit, and then if it continues flashing the board will likely need to be replaced.

Thank you, Im not sure where to find and reset the hi-limit?
The reset is done by turning the power off for about 5 minutes. The hi-limit is on the back of the oven (part ref# 158)
Thanks, I have unplugged the oven, and still have a flashing. Though there is no apparent issues with board 415 other than the red light flashing I assume I would give it a try and purchase another board? Should I also replace hi-limit 158?
You would only replace the hi-limit if it reads open.
How do I check if the hi-limit reads open?
Using a multimeter to check for continuity.

Ive replaces both boards and oven now working. Seems like the burnt board caused board part 415 to also fail. Thanks for your help.
