Do not know what the question is?
A Model Number may help.
Here is where they usually put them
Model Number Locator
My six year old GE Profile side by side’s fridge light started to not work then work for a few days then not at all. I put a new bulb in still no work. I’m not sure of the model #, I was told by a repair person, who was working on it for another matter, that the number was removed at some point when it was cleaned. I can’t believe that the only place that the Mod # was on a piece of tape in the fridge. This model has our kitchen cabinet facing on it. Anyhow I have no idea where or how the light switch works. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Jon V (the unit is 6 years old)
Without a model number I am in the dark.
Usually the light/door switch is on the frame, on a side close to the door or on the plastic assembly on the roof of the fresh food section.
One thing to check is the light socket.
Unplug the unit.
If you look into the socket you will see the center contact.
This can get dirty/corroded so scrape it clean with the end of a small screw driver.
Also often it is sort of self-spring loaded so try to pry it up a little with the screw driver.
Be gentle you do not want to break it.
Here is a common type of switch
